IT is already towards end of March, it should not be a big hazzard to drive from California to Oregon. It takes about 12 hours to reach Portland, Oregon. Just be careful in the night because there are lots of huge trucks but they are almostly well lighted. Road can be slippery when reaching Oregon if you are using Interstate 5 as snow is melting away.
