OMG, i live across the river in Vancouver, WA, but Portland ROX MY SOX!!!lol, they have: the children's theatre, the rose bowl/garden, the japanese gardens, the columbia river nearby, pittock mansion, the blazers(B-ball), oregon state university, university of oregon, beatiful places to live in GOOD neighborhoods, farmers' market, saturday market, PGE park(baseball stadium), lots of yummy resturants, clean air, llyodd center(huge mall), shopping centers and good schools, and NO SALES TAX ON ANYTHING....that means if something is $0.99, it is gonna cost u $0.99, no tax. An awesome place to live....or live close to......also visit Vancouver across the river, we have cool places too!!

Sunny Portland Oregon! Awesome. If you don't mind the rain its a great town. It's not really rain, more like misty and cloudy 8-9 months of the year. Everything grows here and its very green. It is close to the mountains and the beach. The summer is hot and sunny. The average age is 20-50. Good party town, though not a late night. If you're looking to buy a house now is still a good time. Check north portland.

Portland is very nice. It is a great place to raise a family. It has tons of fun family attractions and lots so night life. It is beautiful and clean. It is always expanding and changing.

I grew up in Oregon.

Portland has some "cosmopolitan" pockets, but there are large areas of "redneck".

Race relations are not really that great, but you never hear about it because there are not that many asians, blacks, and hispanics to begin with.

I do not like Portland. I think it is kind of "hick".

It's clean and the people are extremely friendly for the most part. Enjoy!
