If you like nature, wine, rivers, waterfalls or wind surfers, yes!!

The gorge itself is an amazing creation. The river is huge and impressive -- and often windy. That is what makes it a world class wind surfing destination. Great to watch or participate (if your pretty skilled).

Take the old gorge highway (this is on the Oregon side) and enjoy the lush hillside. Lots of waterfalls -- some are a a hundred yard walk, some can be seen from the parking lot and others require a decent hike. They are all a bit different and worth the trip.

Further up the gorge and on the Washington side, there are some wineries (Maryhill) and a decent but odd museum (Maryhill). A bit further away (north of the river) is a very odd WW I memorial and a state park with a great telescope open to the public!

Yes. Make sure you take the small routes that along the hingway.

A lot of hidden place to visit(Ex: Horse Tail Fall).

Salmon fish season is great time and it's gonna be packed.

Multnumah fall is a MUST SEE, need to visit each season(winter+summer).

A lot of tracks to explore, be nice to yourself, bring nice shoes.
